I am not going to lie. Resisting the urge to shop isn't one of my merits. I have sinned the moment I made an impulse decision last Thursday night after my urban economics test to take a quick trip to Yorkdale the next morning. It had been awhile since I last did some serious retail therapy. In my defence, I was looking for stuff I can use for an upcoming formal. With the decision to retain some savings and wear the maxi dress I got as a gift, I got a pair of black leather heels from Zara instead. It was hilarious in a way that Kev had to slowly take in the fact of my ridiculous height boost after putting the heels on. In preparation for warmer weather, I bought a back-plunged top and a pair of embroidered silk shorts from Topshop (p.s I'm loving the Mary Katrantzou x Topshop shopper that came with the buys) as well as a chiffon blouse - (since returned as I had decided I don't need it) and a pair of tweed shorts from Zara. These two high-street stores are no doubt, two of the commercial treasure troves of all things basic and affordable. ♥

Anyway, this week has been incredibly hectic for me. Even sleep is a luxury I sometimes cannot afford.  Today is the perfect example. This coming Friday is the last day of the term before finals. Excited? Not so. The upcoming months will be half school and hopefully, half work. Have a good day everyone.

I love love the Zara shoes, wanted them myself but thought they were a lil too high. How comfy are they?

Hey Hua Jing! The shoes are VERY comfy. Not a sign of discomfort.
