Saturdays are normally my favorite day of the week for two reasons and two reasons only. The joy of no official appointments/activites on a Sunday and the start of the weekend. So yes, last Saturday was all about a heavenly brunch at a boulangerie called The Artisan Baker where tartine and croque monsieur are served amidst crystal chandeliers and tufted upholstery; before resuming to our near-daily routine of solving case studies, revising Canadian taxes and bored myself over the reading materials for this course called Information Systems and IT Audit. Even the name itself sounds so dry. Technically, driving to the city core for brunch is sort of my little 'runaway' from everything that isn't me.
