...of pretty peonies and summer wear

I could not get over the fact that it is the second last weekend of summer. The warmest of the four temperate seasons just went right by my very eyes. The pictures above are a composite of the last two months of summer; pretty peonies, outdoor patios, bicycles, summer festivals and bare legs/bare backs/sandals. However I was mentioned by The Backseat Stylers (wonderful website BTW) that there is a perceptible shift to darker palettes of clothing choice lately. Perhaps I am subconciously ready to let go of summer and welcome fall with open arms, and soon winter again.
