A Persian Brunch Story

Last week, the beau and I had a Persian brunch affair at Takht-e Tavoos, a Persian restaurant which is tastefully decorated with the colours of turquoises, walnut-golds and moonstone greens. It's not your typical brunch session. Think eggs on walnut and dates which comes with sides of feta and barbari style flatbread as well as dizi sangi, a heavier brunch option that comes in a claypot stew made of lamb shank, chick peas and white beans. The food was definitely heavy on the palate but I savoured it entirely. Till next time...
