FARM TO FORK CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER. 2014.
This year is the first in many years where I spend Christmas in a different environment and setting. The beau and I decided to spend our Christmas Eve dinner at ROOST, one of our newfound favourite joints for food. I love the concept of all things locally farmed and sourced, as it bring back memories of how eateries in the western culture are. Six courses and three glasses of wine later, the meal ended with a high note when we were served with complimentary mulled wine. Warm and fuzzy. It was only a year ago where I was freezing in negative double digit weather and eagerly gulping down mulled wine in a plastic cup at a Christmas Market. As I said, great memories.
