Nicely decorated cafes with mediocre food; plenty. Nicely decorated cafes with a minimalist yet cosy ambience and scrumptious creative food; not so much in numbers. I am happy to find one in the near outskirts of the city centre, serving simple classics with a twist. I hold my brunch standards so high up that there are only so few places in the city I would happily pay and walk out feeling satisfied. Wanderlust definitely made it into my list. If I can have french toasts with earl grey poached pear and mascarpone cream everyday, I would. And that is a IF.
