Silkscreen printing is one of the funnest thing I have done in awhile. Given the fact that weekend days can be a bore, this particular activity feeds the need for something more interesting. Instead of going for meals or shopping with your girl friends, why not try something a little more productive? The first and last time I witnessed a silkscreen process professionally done was two years ago at a Hermès exhibition. That was something that got many of us there in awe. The average scarf has 30 colours on it. To put things into perspective, imagine a design of 30 colours equates to around 600 hours work engraving 30 films. Comparing to the one I did for a little more than an hour, it was nothing. But the workshop was a good experience, and definitely a weekend well spent.
