The beach, sand and winter isn't the most ideal, but for the sake of cute brightly painted little huts, maybe it might be worth it. It was interesting. First time's a charm, but perhaps not a second. The pier was a more peaceful place to be in compared to the infamous beach; just the breeze and a couple of kids and their mom. Having brunch with a view of the pier was even better. I spent the rest of the day along Chapet Street and the Prahran area, mostly window shopping and having tea at an overrated patisserie. When I said window shopping, perhaps I went a little wild in American Apparel because I was extremely glad to step into one again after so long. The weather was pretty harsh in Australian terms towards the end of the day, and mulled wine in a night market was the perfect solution.  Marvellous day I must say.
