Quote Victoria Beckham, "This collection is really about the evolution of my personal style".  Based on her statements, she wanted to find a fresh way of wearing corsets again, making it more modern and suitable for daywear. Hence, the constant reoccurrence of the mentioned silhouette in the collection. Instead of the traditional stiff fabrics and structure, the idea of a modern corset was de-boning it, making it lighter using softer fabrics. The end result was classy, modern with a hint seductive lure.
