MFW A/W 2016-2017: MARNI

Consuelo Castiglioni's collection for Marni comprises of different forms, colours, and textures that compliment together in a neo-classical way. Proportionate roundness and modern romance were the key themes. The designer has always experiment with fabric and conceptual forms, and the end products fray away from wearable forms of art to become something stunningly chic. My favourite look was a combination of a camel cape, short in front and with a kind of train, worn over a blouse with balloon sleeves, dark green stirrup pants, nude pointy heels and a pair of 60's-influenced chain earrings. Nevermind the naming of this particular collection but it is defintely a new form of Italian glamour.
