NATURE

Forest reserves are nature at its truest form, commercially unaffected by the world of capitalism. However a true city girl at heart, there is so much nature I can handle and that's when I start encountering creepy crawlies all over. Earthworms, caterpillars, snakes... The resort came complimentary with a nature walk and this was where introduction to a local snake was in the itinerary. My ophidiophobia kicked in full force, and that was it.

Food wise, apart from the sand-floored fusion seafood restaurant in the resort, there is this unassuming shack by the beach serving a good serving of fish and chips that I deemed one the best I have had so far in the country and daddy dearest would approve of. Note: My dad has the most finicky attitude towards a good plate of fish and chips. Me being his daughter, I took up this sentiment as well.
