It was business as usual for the Dior show this fashion week season, even after Raf Simons departure. Without a creative director, this season's collection was presented at the Musée du Lourve, with Serge Ruffieux and Lucie Meier; part of Simon's former team, at the helm. The design team sent out a collection that strongly referenced the Parisian house's DNA, with outerwear being the standout pieces and dresses beautifully crafted with a mishmash of fabrics and frills. The dresses could be a hit or a miss for some, but clearly it got me all hyperventilating from the inside. Although there was less of the covetability factor that was so evident under Simon's watch, this season's collection was much to admire.
