Saying my farewells to a company that I have worked with for the past 2 years and 2 months was hard. Being involved in the fashion industry has always been my goal, furthermore a buyer. Then things got too comfortable, and I figured why not try something new. I has always been the one that likes challenges and risks, and whether the risks taken are a success is another story. So when the opportunity came up to be involved in a new industry and a new strategic planning position, I jumped right to it despite getting countered offered by the former previously. The excitement to take on the new role was thrilling. One week into my hired role and my 'newer' role, I found myself asking 'Is this really what I want? Or is that the perception that I wanted?' For now, I'm out!
