THAT LITTLE ISLAND I CALLED HOME
PENANG. It is always good to be back at the safe-haven of my parents place, to recuperate and refresh, before heading back into the capital for the reality of adulthood. Adulting, as we know it, does not sound as fun as it was back when I was a kid. Being born and bred in Penang throughout my childhood and adolescent years, I love its multicultural heritage, its food, its unique architecture and the sea. Somehow, knowing the shores are right by you has a calming effect. It's an island life, but not your conventional island life.
