Surprisingly, I have just gotten to explore Bangkok at its finest not long ago (and not just its airports departure lounges). It is now one of my favorite Asian city and it is no surprise why. The Thai capital is known for its shopping, delicious street food, speakeasies and all kinds of markets making it every girl's dream destination. Many of the country's defining events have unfolded here, and today the language, culture and food of the city have come to represent those of the entire country. From Buddhist temples sharing space with malls that showcase architectural greatness, to streets lines with food vendors overlooked by Michelin-chef restaurants on top of skyscrapers. These contradictions have unexpectedly made me learn to love this city and I am certain that's why you love it too.
