When you have a bad hair day, I say put on a turban. That weekend when I had decided maybe it was a good idea for some day drinking, my hair was at one of its worst state. So it was either a bun or a turban. I went with the latter. 

The small colonial shophouse where the cafe is housed in will put any 5 year old kid running after it, it's pink! After I told the server I shall have one 'whatever hipster naming cocktail' they had, my friends and I proceeded to what I would call "A Shameless Photography Session". The cafe specializes in hoppers, which are rice and coconut pancakes. When the hoppers or 'appam manis' are delicious and come in modern variations, you order 4 of them including a dessert version.
